It's 3:45 am on a Sunday, and we're sitting here having comment wars and discussions in the talk pages of our own wiki, as our characters.

Sad, I tell you.

The telesilla and I are going up to Sea Ranch for three nights and four days. We'll be taking laptops but we won't have Internet access, so theoretically, we'll get lots of writing done. Either that, or our respective Neverwinter Nights characters will reach epic levels.

It's astonishing how much better our apartment looks after a little over a month of serious work. Saturday: Got up much earlier than we'd planned. Sorted through and culled about eight boxes of books. Took five over to ex-housemates'--one of them deals in used genre fiction online. Came home, showered, and met lifecollage and mangosteen at Butch & Nellie's for coffee. telesilla took the car today and ran errands, including a trip to the Place of the Clever Swedes. We now have another dresser and two lamps. She also put half the couch together, and vacuumed. Joxur made it onto Stuff On My Cat, with a little help from Oeuf, the vibrating bunny.

A year after we moved into this place, we finally have a vacuum cleaner, a sofa, another dresser, another bookcase, and a kitchen table.

Now all we have to do is put it all together.

For the past couple of weeks, Joxur's been scratching and grooming more than usual. At the same time, I started itching, and I noticed what looked like bug bites.
